National LGBTQ Task Force’s Creating Change Conference 2025

The National LGBTQ Task Force’s Creating Change Conference 2025 is scheduled for January 22–26, 2025, at the Rio Hotel, Casino, and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Established in 1988, the Creating Change Conference is the nation’s foremost political, leadership, and skills-building event for the LGBTQ+ movement. It brings together thousands of activists, organizers, and advocates to develop skills, celebrate victories, build community, and be inspired by visionaries within the LGBTQ+ and allied movements for justice and equity.

The 2025 conference will feature a mix of day-long institutes, keynote presentations, annual awards, and over 100 workshops and caucuses. Attendees can also look forward to various social events, including open mic nights, game nights, artist performances, and opportunities to explore Las Vegas.

For members of the Southern Nevada LGBTQ and allied communities, a Creating Change 2025 Community Reception was held on July 25, 2024, at the Rio Hotel’s Miranda Patio. This event provided information on how to get involved, including details about the Ambassador Program, which encourages local partners to recruit volunteers and spread the word about the conference.

As a Henderson, Nevada resident, attending the Creating Change Conference 2025 offers a unique opportunity to engage with LGBTQ+ activists and allies from across the nation, right in your vicinity.
